Education Committee (Academy) |

The ARC Academy was set up in the summer of 2005 for the dual purpose of providing cost effective and relevant training courses to the membership of the Association. It was apparent that, whilst a company was undergoing the move from live operation to legacy management, staff training and career opportunities were on the back seat. ARC realised this and tried an approach that worked within the new financial constraints and addressed areas where staff may require new, or revised, skills. The ARC Academy Committee has a number of responsibilities, including: - To design and recommend the annual ARC Academy programme to the Board for agreement;
- To implement the agreed programme;
- To arrange service provider support for the programme as required;
- To submit budget proposals for the annual programme to the Finance committee (in accordance with its timetable) for approval and for inclusion in the overall budget. The Academy budget to include all Academy costs, including service provider costs, and income from all sources.
