Unlocking value in run-off

In February 2007 PwC launched the first edition of its Survey of Discontinued Insurance Business in Europe, in conjunction with the Association of Run-Off Companies, and they were delighted with the reaction they received from the market.

In this second edition of the survey, PwC consider developments in the run-off market and summarise the results of a questionnaire which has been completed by a cross-section of insurers and reinsurers from the live and discontinued markets in both Continental Europe and the UK.
