The Board The Board consists of nine volunteers elected from the membership, four of whom hold officer positions of Chairman, Academy Chairman, Treasurer and Company Secretary. All volunteers are working directors and ambassadors of the Association. The Board directors are selected at the AGM following a vote by members. Each year three step down in rotation; those elected serve a three-year term but can leave at any point. All members are able to stand for election and the Board has the right to co-opt members if a vacancy occurs mid term until the AGM. The Board arranges forums, presentations, participates on other market committees and promotes our members’ interests. At this time, Board members are reimbursed only certain essential administration costs such as limited travel and subsistence.
