LG has further strengthened its specialist financial services regulatory services group with the arrival of two new partners - Richard Everett and Ron Burgess.

Richard joins LG after more than 10 years with the FSA, as a senior lawyer in its General Counsel's Division, and latterly as head of the legal advisory function for the Regulatory Decisions Committee. Prior to that Richard practised as an insolvency litigator with a magic circle firm.

Ron moved to LG as a partner after a period on secondment with the Pensions Regulator. Prior to that he was at a magic circle firm where he worked on a number of high-profile pensions-related transactions and specialised in the pensions aspects of large-scale insolvency work and other corporate restructurings.

Richard and Ron take with them a broad experience of both contentious and non-contentious regulatory matters and they will be working closely with individuals from across the firm's practice areas, including specialist corporate lawyers and litigators.
