Non-Executive Directors Solvency II Course (10 March 2011)

A Presentation for Non Executive Directors on Key Developments and Implications of Solvency II

I thought the NED/Solvency II event yesterday was absolutely excellent and easily exceeded my expectations. All the speakers were good but the two from PwC were exceptional. The only possible improvement would have been a different seating arrangement - say a horseshoe, to encourage more participation. I would say this event should be considered essential for any NEDs in the insurance sector, live or run-off.
NG

As the role of NED becomes more onerous I was disappointed that this course did not get more participants.  I certainly found that my concerns, regarding L&D, were completely well founded and that in fact there is much more to this element than even my pessimistic run-off training view could handle.
