The ARC Academy was set up in the summer of 2005 for the dual purpose of providing cost effective, and relevant, interactive training courses for the members of the Association. ARC determined the need for this venture following the ARC 2004 survey feedback indication that a company moving from a live operation to legacy management tended to put staff training and career opportunities onto the back seat. So ARC looked to lift financial constraints by holding the costs down and aimed to hold each course in the City to facilitate ease of access and minimum travel cost. Academy speakers are all volunteers and come from a wide range of professional service providers, many of whom would not be in the normal contact areas for delegates. The Academy allows access to discussion and information that otherwise would not be freely available. ARC, as ever, are grateful to them all for their time and support in this ongoing, and growing, programme. Effective from 1st October 2007, ARC, through use of a CII CPD Accreditation licence,
are permitted to 'self-certify' their events against the CII CPD Accreditation standards.
CII CPD accreditation is only used for events which are insurance/financial services
related and a sufficiently high standard to contribute to CII members' CPD. |
ARC Cancellation & Refund PolicyPayments by MasterCard/Visa will attract a 3% service charge (reflecting the charge levied on ARC). Cancellation and refund of monies paid will not be permitted any later than 14 days prior to the event and in the event of cancellation any later than 14 days prior to the event, or non-attendance, any monies due from you will remain due. In the unfortunate event of the cancellation of any ARC event due to circumstances beyond the control of ARC, any monies paid by you will not be refundable (and any monies due from you will remain due) to the extent that ARC has paid or has committed to pay the costs of organising the event and cannot itself obtain reimbursement. ARC will not be responsible for any airfare or other costs incurred by registrants. NO liability is assumed by ARC for changes in the programme date, content, speakers or venue. |
