Dear Colleagues
The winter season of events is upon us. Whilst you are all overcome with Yuletide bonhomie we would like to encourage you to consider making a corporate donation this year - instead of sending Christmas cards - to ARC's anniversary year charities, CLIC Sargent and National Society for Epilepsy. All companies that make a donation in this way will get a special mention in the next newsletter and on the website. In this vein, our grateful thanks go to Geraldine Quirk of Clyde & Co for donating to the cause her £250 'heads and tails' winnings from the ARC Dinner. Early results from the ARC Survey have focused us on the website and a new look www.arclegacy.eu, with lots of new information and useful links, will be with you soon. The AGM said farewell to Philip Grant after seven years with ARC, three of which were as chairman. New ARC chairman, Paul Corver, gave the association's thanks to Philip for all of the time and effort which he donated to ARC over this period and presented him with a golf weekend for two. We were also joined by new board member, Leena Ekman. We hope you enjoy the newsletter, the last of 2008, and we look forward to seeing you around town in the next few weeks.
