Message from ARC Board Members
The Board are very sad to be told that Paul Taylor, our previous and well known and liked regulator, passed away on 19th December. He had been in hospital for a week and suffered a heart attack during his stay there; his health had been in general decline for quite sometime. There is a page www.justgiving.com/paultaylor-arc that is accepting donations to MacMilllan Cancer on behalf of Paul. Please do consider a donation in his memory. We will endeavour to pass on any sympathy messages you wish to send to us. Luke Tanzer said: "It was my privilege to work with Paul Taylor as both an ARC Director and in my capacity at Riverstone. Paul was a very focussed and knowledgeable man; he was very encouraging to the new intakes in our market sector and was a regular trainer at the ARC Academy. He gave freely of his time and would always be there to support our association work and to suggest areas of concern for our membership. He was also a very witty man and both Jenny Fair and Leslie-Ann can attest to his ability to charm and his inability to tell jokes without laughing. Our last meeting with Paul was the ARC Dinner in 2010, where as guest of honour he came along and enjoyed the evening, meeting old friends and catching up on news. Paul was the first recipient of the ARC Award for Services to Legacy and going forward he will always be remembered at the giving of this annual award. We send our sympathies and respects to Paul’s wife Jill and their family." ARC NAME CHANGE
"We would like to thank all of you that participated in our recent name change survey. From the huge number of responses it seems that we have touched on a very relevant subject. The board decision has been made and a special EGM request to voting members to (to complete the legalities) is on it's way. " Mark Everiss, Company Secretary |
